Aura Home + Life Officially Opens in the Heart of Aura
Aura Home + Life officially opened on Friday 21 August 2026, with State Member for Caloundra Kendall Hatcher MP, Federal Member for Fisher Andrew Wallace MP, representatives from Capital Property Group and Stockland, retailers and invited guests gathering to celebrate the milestone ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The opening marks an exciting new chapter for Aura and the wider Sunshine Coast, delivering a major retail destination designed to support one of Australia's fastest-growing communities. As one of the largest retail developments delivered in the region in recent years, the $80 million precinct brings greater convenience and choice closer to home for local residents. Located on the corner of Graf Drive and Aura Boulevard in Baringa, Aura Home + Life is home to a strong mix of nationally recognised retailers, including Rebel, Supercheap Auto, The Good Guys, Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe, TK Maxx, Beacon Lighting, Petstock and Pillow Talk. Adairs, Baby Bunting and Café 63 are set to join the precinct in September, giving shoppers even more reasons to visit.
With more than 16,000 residents already calling Aura home and the community continuing to grow, the arrival of Aura Home + Life provides a vibrant new destination where locals can shop, connect and access leading retail brands without travelling further afield. The precinct also represents a significant investment in the region, creating local jobs and supporting the ongoing growth of the southern Sunshine Coast.
The celebrations are set to continue, with Aura Home + Life hosting a free Community Day on Saturday 12 September from 10am to 1pm. The event will feature family-friendly entertainment and activities, giving residents another opportunity to come together and celebrate this exciting new addition to their community.
Aura Home + Life is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on weekends and is now welcoming visitors from across Aura, Caloundra and the wider Sunshine Coast.
